HARD JavaScript Challenges | Do You REALLY Know JS?
I used the same affect from probably the same source you did.
As a newbie coder, JS is the bane of my existence.
NeoVim left the chat
maybe i didn't see it, but you forgot to give sourcegraph cody a context. in chat if u wanna search in multiple files or add an context use @ sign.. it works reallz great
cool
We humans are smart and lazy at the same time so if companies start to tell us what they want we would start to crack that game instead full filling real requirements For ex if they tell you that instead of solving a problem you need to be telling your thought process people would start taking storytelling classes😂😂 What they meant by a good problem solver is not doing leetcode and memorizing solutions but doing codeforces Or codechef new problems that help to become a good debugger or coming with new solutions for a never seen problem that arised in there software. Note: 😅😅 that's what I believe Feel free to correct me thank in advance🙂
Js on top somethings wrong with this video
It was very helpful
Rule #1: recursion is bad!
I code in notepad++
Well, python and js both are same level garbage
Isn't Promise.allSettled() better?
I wouldn't say better, they are just different. In many cases, if one fails you want them all to fail as the business logic will not work without all of the required information. This is essentially the principle of failing fast and early. However, in other cases, you might be okay to proceed with only some of the information, in which case allSettled would likely be better. It just depends on your individual use case.
I can't believe you say Go is easy. The syntax is horrible, also you have to know pointers which isn't easy for beginners.
Ruby is amazing btw.
THANK YOU❤
Libertarians are stuck between a rock and a hard place because while I want to get rid of the authoritarian Left as I always have, Christians continuously make ominous statements about how they want to change the law of the land to reflect their beliefs. I'm a constitutional conservative but I feel as though I need to distance myself from the Right more and more everyday. I've long since come across people fleeing the Left who I find I agree with on almost everything. It really is true what they say that both sides are getting more radical, even just a year ago I wouldn't think the two sides are comparable but when I hear "Christians need to push their beliefs into government policy the same way Muslims do in their countries" I don't know how to take that as anything else but a threat.
Php goat😢
Garbage takes
ABAP?
Castle make & play: Am I a joke to you!?!?
Oooo…high risk recursion! What if you pass a decimal or a negative number in your factorial function?
I cannot forget this approach, this is the same solution which landed me my current job.
Blud disse que python é overrated 💀💀💀
Also does not make sense to use async code when it’s a single task where each result is passed to the next function. The whole point of async code (most people forgot or don’t know) is to not block additional tasks from being accepted and started while waiting for network or disk IO
A computer is basically a bunch of transistors making lots of simple decisions to do complex tasks
It's "Gemini" Not bard.
Ruby has the best syntax
I use kate, it's actually lightweight
Python is the best
No Eclipse or IntelliJ?
I want to do primarily backend development. Is Python good with Django, and do I need math skills for it? I’ve heard multiple opinions on this, but I’m not sure. Thanks!
Damn. I need to work for Facebook.
simple, <?php function calculateFactorial($n) { if ($n < 0) { return "Invalid input"; } $result = 1; $intermediateResults = []; $count = 0; for ($i = 1; $i <= $n; $i++) { for ($j = 0; $j < 1000; $j++) { for ($k = 0; $k < 1000; $k++) { if ($j === 999 && $k === 999) { $intermediateResults[] = $i * $i; for ($m = 0; $m < 100000; $m++) { $necessaryComputation = $m * $m * $m; } } } } foreach ($intermediateResults as $key => $value) { if ($key % 2 == 0) { $result *= $i; } else { $result += $i - 1; $result -= $i - 1; } for ($p = 0; $p < 1000; $p++) { for ($q = 0; $q < 1000; $q++) { $timeConsumingOperation = $p * $q; } } } $count++; } for ($x = 0; $x < 1000000; $x++) { $finalComputation = $x * $x; } return $result; } $n = 10; // Example input echo "<div>The factorial of {$n} is: " . calculateFactorial($n) . "</div>"; ?>
Does practicing all these things before seeing this video already makes me a senior dev? I don't even know what stage i am.. Maybe junior, intermediate or senior.. but whose checking
This mate is absolutely a frontend development
EDGE users Assemble here💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
someone is clearly a JS developer.
Wanna clarify too that if one fails everything fails on Promise.all() :) unless it's one of your desired behaviour, you might wanna use a different method of Promise 😉
i'm gonna accidentally put a negative number into the factorial call
concurrent but not parallel
var is hoisted to the nearest enclosing scope which is the global scope (from the example in the video). var also has a special behavior of reinitialization meaning for each loop it does not create a new variable but instead it modifies the already declared variables which is this case 'i' now because the closure that created inside set timeout calls accessing 'i' which is declared using var, all of 3 closure actually accessing same variable (literally same variable from memory, not just its name 'i'). and because the executions itself is deffered using timeouts, when that 3 callbacks is actually being executed, it will read the latest value of 'i' which is the value of integer 3. thats why we saw the ouputs of 3 3 3 in the video
what kind of boomer programmer ever user Var, ever
Python: overrated, copied code JS: GOAT C: my kids laughing at each other bruh
All these boys saying Edge is crazy
There’s still job in php?
Its never at the same time
Promise.all throws if any promise is rejected. Sometimes it's better to use Promise.allSettled and then decide what to do with any, if present, rejected promises
Yes! I'm pretty proficient in everything back-end (C, C++, C#, Java, Python, JS, TS, the works). But as far as actual front end goes, I'm @#$& out of luck. I tried jumping head first into Angular and I was sorry to do so. I am now learning HTML and CSS and God will help me actually do something This path reminds me of learning these coding languages - start with the basics, C, because the rest aren't much more than abstractions that themselves rely on C. Just as all these frameworks are nothing more than a fancy wrapper to HTML, CSS and JS.
